More than 70% of people living on less than $1 a day around the globe are women. While God has given women ambitions, intelligence, skills and the ability to provide for themselves and their families, Hope International gives them the resources and training they need to start a business and lift themselves out of poverty. Because of this overlooked potential, 80% of the loans Hope International gives are to women. With training and a small loan, not only can women start businesses and provide for their home, they bring hope to their communities. During Passion 2010 we are challenging 200 female students to rise up and fund 200 business loans for women in Haiti at $200 each. Women helping women!
