Clean water is something we daily take for granted, yet around the world more than 1 billion people do not have access to clean water resulting in disease and even death. 5,000 children under the age of five die every day due to water-related diseases. That’s roughly one child every 15 seconds. We want to be a part of changing these statistics! Living Water International is working around the globe to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience “living water”—the gospel of Jesus Christ. At Passion 2010 we will fund the drilling of 10 wells through Living Water International in Guatemala costing $5,000 each AND challenge students to GO and serve as part of LWI short-term mission teams to drill the wells and share the love of Christ with the community.
